Sitting on the Atlantic coast and coupled with an average 1,600
hours of sunshine per year also makes Newquay Britain’s premier
surfing location. It’s famous beaches such as Fistral and
Watergate Bay are a haven for the serious surfer and have hosted
the World Surfing Championships. Other beaches such as Towan, Great
Western and Tolcarne are a safe location ideal for those learning
to surf or for the family to enjoy the beach.

Newquay
has a picturesque harbour and rising from this is a quaint but vibrant
town, spread along the magnificent cliff tops. A short walk from the
town is the beautiful Trenance gardens with its beautiful displays
of flowers and exotic plants. The Trenance Gardens complex also has
a new Crazy Golf Circuit and contains Newquay Zoo, Waterworld and
Newquay Sports Centre. The boating lake and Newquay Riding Centre
are also a short distance away.
There is so much to do in Newquay, fishing of all types, fly, coastal,
deep sea, shark or freshwater, scenic walks, Golf, horse riding, or
just relaxing with a pint and traditional pasty or a Cornish cream
